Prenatal Yoga with Alessa is a series is a collection of feel-good prenatal yoga tools, including:
- Grounding meditation to connect to the present moment and to your baby
- Nurturing self-massage
- Joint release sequence
- Adapted prenatal sun salutations
- Birth preparation asanas & flows
The design of these sessions is to help you feel good as well as prepare mindfully for the big moment of your birth. Practice with them individually, or link them together to create a customized practice based on availability.
These practices are suitable for any stage of pregnancy, and especially for the final trimester. These are also appropriate to practice in the weeks leading up to your due date.
Meet your Prenatal Yoga Teacher
Alessa is fascinated by the universe of knowledge and benefits that have been deployed through the practice, study and teaching of Yoga. Allow yourself 10 minutes to pause and become aware of this special, unique moment in your life. Close your eyes and journey inside to connect to your baby through breath and body, awareness and visualization. An ideal meditation to practice every day during your pregnancy.
Meditation & joint mobility
This short practice is perfect for any time of the day to cultivate awareness & piece of mind through stillness and meditation. It is followed by a short sequence of mindful joint fluid movements to release tension and stagnation.
