Hi, I am Claire, a french yogini settled in Geneva!
I teach a creative Vinyasa flow yoga aimed at exploring asanas and meditation through movement. I like to make every asana accessible and encourage everyone to connect with their own body and develop their own practice. I like to teach playful classes where everyone can explore and go beyond their comfort zone in a safe way.
For me, yoga is a tool to discover myself and to open to the world, it is a journey to the inside and the outside. My practice is a constant flow on and off the mat, and yoga enables me to let go and connect to my inner core of creativity.
I left my career as an engineer in 2014 to follow my bliss and dedicate myself to the practice and teaching of yoga.

DESCRIBE YOUR UNIQUE VALUE ADD AS A TEACHER. WHAT ABOUT YOUR STYLE MAKES YOU STAND OUT?
I teach very playful classes, I encourage everyone to explore and connect to their inner child. I also help people become independent in their practice. It is very important for me that every yogi is observant enough to know what feels or doesn't feel good for themselves.
I create a safe environment for every yogi to grow and get out and get out of their comfort zone.
TELL US ABOUT YOUR INTENTION IN BEING A PART OF THE LOCAL COLLECTIVE OF GATHERYOGA?
As a geek, I think we are very lucky to have access to a lot of information very easily.
I am grateful to GatherYoga to enable yogi.ni.s from all over the world to connect, be part of a community, and learn from each other.
We grow so much more when we help and support each other, and I am very excited to be a part of it.
WHAT FIRST BROUGHT YOU TO THE MAT?
I was living in England at that time, and working as a bartender. A colleague of mine was just starting teaching Ashtanga, an I went to one of her classes out of curiosity and support.
I loved it! I used to be a pretty athletic kid, and I had quit sports during my studies. So it felt really good to work out again, and I practiced Ashtanga for the work out at first.
Then I moved to Paris, and kept practicing yoga, and it slowly invaded my life, on a lot more than the physical level.
WHAT INSPIRES YOU TO TEACH?
I love to share!
I like exploring every aspects of yoga, it really helps me connect to my creative self, and it is something I want to share. I love inspiring people to let go, get out of their comfort zone, to start observing their body and their mind, and to explore.
