My name is Elli, I m German born, and Americanized since 2003.
I have my own business as a holistic lifecoach, helping people to live a joyfully empowered life, on purpose and with purpose.
I studied Physio therapy in Germany, and when my degree was not transferred, started my own business and went back to school for health education and exercise science at the College of Charleston.
Curious as I am, I also studied eastern methods of healing and philosophy, and blended it all into a unique style of coaching, teaching, and mentoring people all over the world in career, health, and relationships.
Yoga is one of the pillars in my own life, especially meditation, and I am so pumped to be here, and to share this powerful practice with you.

I love to bring in anatomical, medical, nutritional, Ayurvedic, physiological, psychological, spiritual, quantum physical, and philosophic principles. When we hear things in different ways, it's more likely that “the coin drops”.
I love to make the practice accessible for every body, every situation, and every personal preference, so I use a variety of styles. Healing, grieving, overcoming addictions, changing energy, becoming more ourselves, managing stress, supplementing sports, empowerment, self love, mindfulness...
I love giving people space to connect to themselves, to figure things out on their own, and to walk away with the remembrance of who they are.
I love to bring in principles of manifestation and Miracle mindset (shift in the way we look at things)
I love to meditate, and to me the postures are like cooking the meal, and the meditation is like eating it

WHAT FIRST BROUGHT YOU TO THE MAT?
Actually, my bitchy inner critic, my ego.
A friend had told me that Bikram Yoga makes you sweat a lot and detox.
That was during a time that I identified myself with my body, aka I thought I AM my body, and also thought that I am only good enough when my body looked a certain way, I loved myself only conditionally.
The desire to look good brought me there, and I stayed because it feels amazing and started to transform me.
I remember being more present during the class than I had been in years, and that it felt so spacious on all levels.

Yoga poses and practices are such a powerful vehicle for transformation, and allows a space for people to practice presence and self awareness. To connect with he only point of power, the here and now. It's the first step to empowerment, and the hardest for many. And because it feels so good, is easy and joyful, it's my favorite way to help people to slow down.
When I teach, I am out of my own way, and I enjoy all things that are like that.
