My teaching style is a blend. I keep it very playful and fun. While mixing in some power, a bit of restorative and inversions. But what makes my style unique is that I teach on the water, stand up paddleboard yoga or SUP Yoga.
CorePower Yoga 200-hour Power Yoga certified instructor, SUP Yoga Instructor and WPA Level 2 SUP Instructor.

DESCRIBE YOUR UNIQUE VALUE ADD AS A TEACHER. WHAT ABOUT YOUR STYLE MAKES YOU STAND OUT?
This is a tough question. Especially with so many amazing teachers out there. We all bring something unique to the mat. And are doing great things while on the mat.
This past year, I decided to bring me to the mat. Not someone else's style or flare. Just what I love about yoga. Freedom.
Being on the water adds a unique element. A lot of people are scared. And I fully get it. So I decided to lighten it up. Tap into the inner child in all of us. Bring the playfulness to the water. Adding dance parties, with no music, laughing and pushing what we thought was possible a bit further.
So if you love serious yoga, that's not me. But if you want to laugh, shake the booty and teeter on the edge of comfortable and uncomfortable. I'd love to have you follow along.
TELL US ABOUT YOUR INTENTION IN BEING A PART OF THE LOCAL COLLECTIVE OF GATHERYOGA?
Community. That is what has inspired me about GatherYoga. Bringing together teachers who are sharing their passion throughout the world. With the goal to educate students who may not live in the same region as us. Or where unable to make it to their classes today.
WHAT FIRST BROUGHT YOU TO THE MAT?
My path to the mat was through Stand Up Paddling. After playing with some poses on the water I was intrigued by yoga. A friend brought me to my first class, led by, who is now my mentor, Tymi Howard. The class reconnected me with the feeling that wakeboarding and snowboarding brought into my life. The freedom to flow and move. From here I spent a lot of time on the water practicing SUP Yoga. Where I found my true passion.
WHAT INSPIRES YOU TO TEACH?
Students are my inspiration. Watching people step outside their comfort zones. Explore the benefits of yoga and bringing what the practice teaches them. Back into their lives. Every class I teach, I learn so much from the students that make it to the mat.
Where can you find me?
My home studio, like my style is unique. It has no walls, it hovers above the water. It is a floating studio. And currently mobile. From the Islands of the Caribbean to Hawaii, California and Canada. I have the fortunate opportunity to share my passion through traveling.
