Turmeric Smoothie For Inner Cleansing

This deep yellow smoothie is not only gorgeous to look at, but it is uplifting as well. It warms up every cell of the body – from the first sip, you will feel your circulation gets a boost until the finish of the sweet/acid taste… truly amazing. Every chance to  take extra care of yourself and do a little outer and inner cleaning is one worth taking. This smoothie is like a facial in a glass, but with all the benefits for your internal bits, too.

Cleansing turmeric smoothie

Serves 2
Vegan, gluten-free

1 small very ripe mango

3-4 big handfulls ripe and fresh pineapple

1 medium sized celery stalk

½ tsp turmeric (curcumin)

dash of ginger

dash of cayenne pepper ( or 2 if you are brave enough :)

3-4 dl pure water or coconut water

-Peel the fruits, and rinse the celery well.

-Chop into smaller pieces and pour into a blender together with the rest of the ingredients.

-Mix until smooth

Cayenne pepper is a powerful spice to use for its anti-irritant, anti-flu, anti-allergen and anti-bacterial properties! You might think that since it’s so strong it would be difficult to digest but it’s the contrary- you can even calm an upset stomach with cayenne.. It boosts circulation and detoxification and is definitely your best ally to fight any cold or flu. Curcumin is another miracle spice; it’s packed with antioxidants and is known to be one of the most powerful anti-inflammatory foods in the world. Therefore it’s often used to relief joint pain, help fight cancer and prevent Alzheimer’s disease. It’s a great anti-age spice that should be consumed every day (assimilation is improved when taken with a little black pepper). Ginger is another powerful anti-inflammatory herb which helps to improve circulation and is really efficient for any nausea or stomach/ menstrual cramps.
